Once again we have been enthusiastically invited to feature our unrivalled wassail celebration at 3.15. pm., following our procession at the head of crafting young people, through the auditorium and beyond, to end in the centre’s foyer.
This year we shall be accompanied in our processional by drummers from the drumming workshop! Should prove an interesting, spontaneous experience for us all…
First joint dance-out of the season, sorted by our new joint coordinators, Jan and Tania. Join us at this great pub location from about 7.30 pm. onwards to exhaustion. We are on “morris time.
After our workouts in the practice room since Bradford Roots in January, we will be venturing forth for the first time over the Easter weekend at this prestigious event at the one-time home of Sir Alex Moulton; He, a man into suspension. The inventor/ designer of the eponymous tiny-wheeled bicycle, and the hydrolastic system of the original 1960’s Mini.
Here is an opportunity to see the grounds of this erstwhile extremely mysterious Jacobean mansion in the centre of the town, and to catch us on both days, putting into practice some of the stuff we’ve been developing during the post Christmas fallow performance period.
No doubt the timings of our performances will be in the event programme. So catch us if you can!!!
From 10.am. till 5.30.pm. we shall be swapping turns with numerous sides throughout the town at this, a relatively new high point in our dance calendar. Why so? Well… Because it is the enormously successful brain-child of our illustrious squire, Alfie Windsor. Seek us out at all points of the B-on-A compass

We will be delighted, as we are sure will you, to be with Somerset Morris in this quiet characterful street in beautiful Bath, on what we are certain will be a more than pleasant evening of dance. Surely a pint or two will be raised in celebration of this now regular social event.
In the days of yore, when we were ALL Spring chickens, The Bell used to be a regular Summer evening dance spot. Somehow under a succession of changes there, it fell off our radar. So we are inordinately bucked that Jan and Tania have managed to resurrect it, sphinxlike, to place it firmly back on our performance calendar.
So from roughly 7.30.pm. till we feel the pillow beckons, we shall be vigorously active one way or another.
For some us, even you perhaps, it’s within cycling distance. See you there!!!
This is full day event, where many Wiltshire sides are invited, and to join resources, cross- fertilising if squads are incomplete, in chaotic, exuberant abandon. We however have at least a full set, but will, we are sure, be ready to join in any of the impromptu, spontaneous associations that may arise. Dance and music sessions throughout the day.
