CHILDREN IN NEED, BRADFORD-ON-AVON

After what is for us a fallow, retrenchment period over the last couple of months, we will be out forcing ourselves to endure an evening of pub-crawling in Bradford-on-Avon, on Friday evening, the 18th. of November during which we may front up with a dance or two, as we raise money for "Children in Need."

If you fancy catching us and parting with a little of your cash we will be starting out at around 7.30 pm at The Castle Inn and will progress to all points pubwards downhill and around central B-on-A. until beyond 11.00 pm. Listen out for soft strains of melodion, wafting handkerchiefs and co-ercive, money-extraction, water-boarding cries. And then come crawling with us.

THE BOXING-DAY EVENT, HOLT

We shall, along with Bells Angels, be out and about in the village, performing our very particular brand of post Christmas Day celebratory activity. Some call it dancing. Others are better-informed.

Come out and catch us, if you are so inclined:

               10.00 am. Little Parks.

               10.45 am. Fir Lawn.

               11.30 am. Outside the Superstore.

               12.00 noon The Village Green.

After that, post the now ritualistic boules competition, we adjourn to the pubs. The Tollgate first, ending up at The Old Ham Tree, around 1.00/1.15 pm. where the now legendary music and high spirits will accompany enthusiastic, vigorous singing from members of the assembled ensemble, along with your good selves, ably assisted as ever by Mr. John Bond on his trusty old classical guitar.
This will extend as long into the afternoon as vocal cords, personnel and ability to stand allow.

See you sometime, we hope
